4 killed in Belmont overnight

Four people were killed in Belmont last night.
The deceased have been identified as Brandon Forde, 23, Keeron Moore, 31, Chivon Clarke 26, and Gerard Forde, 56.
They were all from the Belmont community.
According to police reports, at about 10:10 pm the group was liming along the roadway at the corner of Smart Place and Belmont Circular Road, when a dark-coloured SUV pulled up alongside the group.
Five men exited the vehicle and began shooting at the group.
The suspects then returned to the SUV and the vehicle escaped by driving south along the Belmont Circular Road.
Residents of the area notified the police and paramedics and a group of officers from the Port of Spain Division, the Inter-Agency Task Force, and the Homicide Bureau responded.
However, all four men died on the scene.
The bodies were viewed by a district medical officer and ordered removed from the scene.
Several spent shells were also recovered.
Police currently have no motive for the killings.
