Man who ‘shot at woman’ held after 3 months on the run – cops

Twenty-three-year-old Nicolyle Waldron of Maxfield Avenue, Kingston 13 was charged with shooting with intent, illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition following an incident in his community on Wednesday, January 19, 2022.
Reports from the Denham Town Police are that at about 3:30 pm, the complainant was walking along Gem Crescent in the parish when she was pounced upon by Waldron, who opened gunfire in her direction. She managed to escape unhurt. A report was made to the police and an investigation launched.
Waldron was subsequently arrested and charged during an operation on Friday, April 15. His court date is not yet finalised.
