Security guard allegedly found strapped with illegal gun at nightclub

Thirty-two-year-old Ramone Lawrence, a security guard of Thorpe Street, Falmouth, Trelawny, was charged with illegal possession of firearm and illegal possession of ammunition on Thursday, February 24.
Reports from the Wait-a-Bit police are that about 10:30 pm, law enforcers were on an operation at a nightclub, during which Lawrence was searched.
The illegal firearm and ammunition were reportedly found in his possession.
He was subsequently arrested and charged by the police.
A date for his appearance in court has not yet been finalised.
